Review: TO KILL A WARLOCK by H.P. Mallory

4 of 5 stars

I picked up this book during a free promotion and it was definitely a fun read. The story is told in first person and follows Regulator Dulcie O'Neil. It's her job to bring lawbreakers to justice and she's one kick-ass fairy. During a particularly gruesome murder investigation, she is tapped to work with Netherworld's investigator Knight Vander. Of course, it doesn't hurt that Knight is tall, dark and handsome and sparks fly between him and Dulcie during the investigation.

If you're looking for a full paranormal world with demons, vampires and fairies, this book will definitely entertain you. The author does a great job of fleshing out many of the secondary characters. I have a soft spot for Bram. He's the bad boy you love. It's the first book in the series so there's more opportunities to get your fix of Dulcie, Knight and Bram.
