#Review: COVERT ASSIGNMENT by Missy Marciassa

3 of 5 stars

In her final semester before graduating with a degree in Information Science, Elle is looking forward to pursuing a graduate degree and planning a life with her boyfriend, Adam. All that changes when CIA recruiters show up on campus and Elle learns that she is already working for them through a dummy company and they are funding her thesis project. Seems Elle is brilliant when it comes to organizing data and metadata and she is just what the CIA needs. When she's assigned to work with sexy Preston, Elle is in for a few more surprises. Her life isn't as dull as she thinks and may never be the same again.

I enjoyed more than 3/4 of this book. I thought the author was foreshadowing future events and writing dialogue with double meanings. It was brilliant until it wasn't. I was very disappointed in the ending of this book. Perhaps I was expecting too much, but it seemed more of a let down than a satisfying conclusion to an otherwise excellent story.

I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.
