Every year I watch the documentary made by the Naudet brothers. The only images of the first plane hitting, the sounds from inside the lobby of Tower One and the emotion of watching the events unfold as they happened - it's gutwrenching to watch. My Mom watched it with me for the first time this year. I doubt anyone can watch this film and forget what happened that day. If they do, something is sorely wrong with them.

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean. I watched the second plane hit the tower. It was like watching a made for TV movie, but it was so horribly real. The university sent everyone home that day. No one knew if there would be any more attacks especially in Boston where one of the planes originated.
