#Review: ONE NIGHT TO REMEMBER by Erica Ridley

  4 of 5 stars

Notorious whip Giles Langford is loving life. He's runs a successful and thriving smithy. Helping local lads with apprenticeships, he has everything he needs in his life to be satisfied. When the Duke of Colehaven hires him to drive his curricle in an upcoming race, Giles jumps at the chance. That is, until the duke wants Giles to work with his sister on the curricle. Lady Felicity will never forget her humble roots working in a smithy, but she's also promised her brother to make a lofty marriage. Her greatest wish is to have enough money to help all the unfortunate children still struggling just to survive. Her grand plans goes awry when she agrees to work with Giles Langford.

This was a cute story and the 5th book in the series. I really liked Giles. He was such a kind and considerate guy opening up the smithy to employ as many lads as he can. He was a true gentleman albeit without a title. I had to suspend belief a bit with Felicity's role in the book. She was a duke's sister and her actions would reflect badly on him, and his duchess, but Felicity didn't seem to take that into consideration. Because the plot moved along well and kept my interest until the end, I gave the book 4 stars.

I voluntarily read a advanced reader copy and opinions are my own.
