This is the second book I've read by Ms.
Andersen and it was a decent read. Charles, His Grace, Duke of Shewsbury, has
decided to honor his late father's wishes for him to marry Lady Nellie Dountry.
He is smitten with her when they meet, but Nellie is quite reserved. Can he win
her over for a happy marriage and life together?
This was a slow paced book. Not much happens except misunderstandings and failure to communicate between Charles and Nellie. Their attraction is there, but they're both stubborn and don't share their feelings, secrets or their fears. There is a lot of angst and inner turmoil. However, it is only when Nellie has an accident do they finally share their feelings with each other.
