4 of 5 starsI enjoy reading books by this talented author. This one is the third in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ophelia and Devlin first met as children when Devlin saved her from a raging river. That one incident will drive Devlin's life as he grew and struggled to be worthy of Lady Ophelia. Both characters were strong and shared many passionate experiences, but even though Devlin was now very wealthy, he knew he would never be accepted by Society. Some of Ophelia's actions as she sneaks out of her father's house seem a bit far fetched for the time especially when no one, not even a servant, is aware of her late night activities. Even though these two did finally get their HEA, I was disappointed that it was so easy as Ophelia being of age and not caring what Society thinks of their union. There are several graphic sex scenes so reader be warned if you don't care for that.
