2 of 5 starsI usually love books by Ms. Quinn, but this one was so boring! Nothing of importance really happens. Nate and Henrietta meet accidentally and from that brief meeting, they both decide the other person is the one they want to marry. There's no character growth. We're just told about Nate's previous bad behavior against Henrietta's sister, but by the time he comes back to London, he's completely reformed. Not having read any of the previous books in the series might have made all the characters introduced in the book make more sense. I almost stopped reading numerous times as the story just didn't hold my interest that much.
