#Review: PIPER'S PURGATORY by Maureen A. Miller

 5 of 5 stars

What a riveting story! Kept me glued to my kindle as I read it in two sittings.

The story revolves around Piper waking up to a world of pink, mauve and red only to find that she's the only thing substantial in the world. That is, until she sees a man, Russell Hughes, across the street. He's solid and in full color and the two of them embark on an adventure trying to figure out what's going on and why they are together on her street.  Can they unravel the mystery or will they be stuck in this pink and silent world forever?

Miss Miller is a talented writer who has woven a story of intrigue and suspense as she slowly reveals the details of what happened on the last day they both remember. The descriptions are vivid pulling the reader deeper into the story. Piper and Russ's growing attraction is handled so well with smoldering looks and caresses so definitely rated PG for those who don't like steamy. While I did guess some parts of the story, there are multiple twists and turns and one especially I never saw coming. Highly recommend.
