Reviewers comments:
"The story takes the reader through twists and turns worthy of epic fantasy while managing to keep the reins of tension taut and the characters true. We get to see through the eyes of evil-doers and heroes alike, and that feature brings a freshness to the plot that I enjoyed. Even minor characters became favorites..."
"The writing is superb, the descriptions detailed without going overboard. Every city, every dimly lit tavern, and every snowy mountain pass was vivid in my mind. If you love epic fantasy, this IS the series for you..."
"Witch's Curse didn't disappoint! Loaded with drama, action, and plenty of twists and turns--not to mention a villain worthy to follow in the footsteps of Mave--this book kept me glued from the first page to the last!"

Every once in a while I find a book that draws me in so effectively that I don't want to put it down. Assassin's Curse is one of those books. Jeda is a great hero, even though he's forced into the role. The authors do a great job of transitioning him from cold-blooded killer into unwilling hero, and then finally a man who'll freely stop at nothing to protect his family.
There's more than one "villain" in this book. But Mave gets my vote for being the scariest. Literally. This guy is pure evil. I spent the entire book enthusiastically anticipating Jeda finally getting the best of Mave. I wasn't disappointed. There were a few twists in the book that I didn't see coming--which is always a plus. If you're a fan of fantasy, or just plain ol' good storytelling...grab this one. It's a keeper!

This is an amazing book. I could hardly put it down once I started. The story is well-written and engaging, really pulling you into this world that David and Debra have created. All of the characters were fleshed out wonderfully. I felt like I knew them all as close friends rather than people I just read about. I would highly recommend this read to anyone who loves an exciting read. Geat job!
