Be Mindful of What You Write/Post

I was having a conversation the other day with a friend explaining how I was trying to build up a web presence, but also being very careful about what I actually post on the internet. Agents, editors and publishers suggest to unpublished authors that it will serve them better if they have a blog and/or a website. That's all well and good, but be careful what you say.

Janet Reid's blog mirrors this very sentiment. Remember agents and editors google your name too and if they come across your blog/website with content they don't like, you may be sabotaging your chances for a book sale without even knowing it.

So, be wary people!
