New Release: MODEL AGENT by Sean Sweeney



The human body consists of two-thirds water.

As concertgoers on a steamy day in Boston find out, water can kill as much as it gives life.

A terrorist attack at City Hall Plaza has the authorities perplexed. The government, in response, sends in a capable but young agent – an agent born from the ashes of terrorism itself – to handle it.

But as her partner dies and the terrorist strikes again, Jaclyn Johnson – code named Snapshot – finds herself in a situation she has trained a decade to face: She’s up against a man with enough money to finance a war against his competition. With a deadline in place to stop him – and with a car holding enough hidden tricks to evade capture – Snapshot infiltrates his hidden installation and finds out her target’s true end game, a secret that could have the world fighting over water.

    This writer is a complete and utter hack, plain and simple. "If Bond had boobs?" Really? Really?

    Don't even think about reading his "Turning Back the Clock" offering, either. I can accept the fact that I need to suspend my disbelief, but the way that the main character goes about building a time machine is ludicrous.

    Save yourself some time, and go read anything else.

    Absolutely - I appreciate you responding. I'm not typically this blunt, but Fitch gives me a migrane. Have you personally read any of his work? If so, what did you think?

    No, I have not read any of Mr. Sweeney/Fitch's work. Some of the books I feature, I have read, but not this one. I wish I had more time to read - my TBR list is just ridiculous!

    My blog is dedicated to getting the word out about indie authors as well as posts about writing/publishing etc. with a few personal funnies thrown in. Whenever anyone requests a slot on my blog, as long as I don't find their book offensive, I am happy to post a "new release" for them. I personally don't like horror, true crime or memoirs, but posting a new release spot about it and reading it are two different things.

    I appreciate you stopping by the blog and hope you come back often.

    Deb, you are right that everyone is entitled to their opinion. When it comes to books it is very subjective.

    I have personally read Model Agent and just have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't comment for his other books, but I'm not afraid to say I liked Model Agent. I'm really looking forward to the next one - Rogue Agent. He includes a sample of it at the end of Model Agent and I'm hooked.

    I'm only going to add one more thing - Thank goodness for samples! Most of the time they speak volumes for the rest of the book.

    Sean can certainly use some polish, but he is improving with each book, and I enjoy his stories. The polish will come; that can be both taught and learned - how many can come up with stories? That part is innate.
