Rafe and Auggie have an instant connection when she comes to Essex to take care of her elderly aunt after a fire destroyed her aunt's home. There's a mystery throughout the book of who and what has been going on with missing priceless art and stolen gems. Auggie's cousin seems to be caught up in the middle of the criminal activity, but it's up to Rafe to prove or disprove his involvement. Rafe's son Sam is adorable in the story and adds a sweet element to the romance between Rafe and Auggie.
While there's no real conflict or obstacles for Rafe and Auggie to overcome to reach their happily ever after, it was a sweet and pleasant read. I really enjoy these books and look forward to the next one in the series.
